we have no way of knowing what the future holds. all we can do is make the best decisions possible with the information at hand… and learn to trust the people who may one day help us get there. some say “it all begins with an idea,” but rarely do our visions come to life in a VACUUM without a collective will to stretch the possible, sacrifice for others, trust the hand that others give, and find unlikely success together.
we have learned that far more potential goes untapped than used in life. there is no shortage of dreamers, but risk-takers and misfits who are willing to believe in something more and reach past the odds… are generational gems. we are here to find and cultivate those who know they can and want yto be more, do more and say more to make a real difference. like anything, an idea well packaged, managed and marketed becomes a vehicle for change. that’s where we come in.

success isn’t easy, and those of us who have reached it, however fleeting, know that we {all} fail more than we succeed. andre agassi and countless other larger-than-life figures have opened up about a lonely, isolating place known as “rock-bottom.” life is dangerous without a safety net and permeated with the reality of losing what we have. but ROCK-BOTTOM has a purpose. make your way through it and, maybe, a greater purpose reveals itself. our team understands being on the ropes, getting knocked out, facing a loss or devastation. and ultimately and against the masses, overcoming the mental, physical, circumstantial and emotional barricades. it’s what molds our character.
in 2018, we found PERSEVERANCE, resilience and a clarity of purpose not to lead but to follow.
charles jung, andy kislik, todd langman and others who helped us beat down those barricades and who believed in our ideas for a better and more capable process shared our will to enter the fight.

Where did you guys come from?
once colleagues in century city, ca, rick was senior agent at CAA Sports from the onset of its tennis division in 2006. steph joined as first marketing coordinator for caa tennis in 2013.
What is untold?
many things, but if we’re being practical, Untold is where our comeback begins. untold management was founded in 2023 as a consulting hub geared towards dynamic implementation of marketing & career developmental strategies for athletes, high visibility personalities, entrepreneurs and local and national startups in the field of sports, entertainment, hospitality and philanthropy.
where are you based?
Untold management is based in westport, ct and conducts most of its business in and around greater new york city and los angeles.
what did you do after caa tennis?
when covid hit, each of us had already started down a strategy to mitigate the fallout. after 3 years, we found the conclusion we needed and landed on our feet clear across the country where the vision for untold came into focus.
what can clients expect?
depends on individual needs; no cluent is the same. what untold safeguards against is a run of the mill status quo delivery of our work. clients expect detailed hands-on care, a full spectrum of resources at their disposal, new and bold ideas not often explored in context of today’s marketplace, and the knowledge to implement, scale and outsource the unexpected. Founder & Presidentrick’s unprecedented success over 17 years in the tennis business as talent agent on the atp and wta pro tennis circuits for ash barty, taylor fritz, frances tiafoe, thanasi kokkinakis and ben mitchell gave CAA Sports its first ticket off the bench and into both professional tennis tours with homegrown clients represented around the world. rick’s experience with client career development and global risk and strategy assessment leaves little by way of unfamiliar territory when it comes to client well being, career strategy and day-to-day management.

Steph took one leap into the PR and Marketing arena of Hollywood at the age of 19 and never stepped out. Beginning at UCLA, she sculpted a diverse career as apprentice marketing creative for NBC’s Commerical Division, Bender | Helper Impact’s studio films and TV division, Rogers & Cowan’s illustrious lineup of PR clients, and Marketing & Media for CAA Sports’ Tennis division.
